The first Main Event of the 2025 season is here, following the exciting debut of the Swiss Stage in Game Changers NA. At stake are crucial qualification points toward the Game Changers Championship, a share of the $60,000 prize pool, and prestige as the best team in North America.
The Verizon VALORANT Game Changers Stage 1 Main Event, which takes place across two weekends - May 23-25 and May 30-June 1, features eight teams facing off in a double elimination bracket. The teams fought their way through a seven-round Swiss Stage that gave us more broadcasted Game Changers NA matches than ever before.
The reigning World Champions, Shopify Rebellion Gold, secured the first seed in a swift 4-0 fashion throughout the first rounds of Swiss, soon followed by Wadadaa and Aussie and Friends with the second and third seeds after securing 4-1 results. YFP X, FlyQuest RED and Teevee earned their way into the Main Event in Round 6 with 4-2 scores. On the final day of the Swiss Stage, :3 and Ghost Gaming locked in to claim the final two spots.

The Main Event will feature a Double Elimination bracket that kicks off the weekend of May 23 and wraps up the following weekend. All matches are best-of-three (Bo3) until the Lower Bracket Finals and Grand Finals, played as best-of-fives (Bo5).
