VALORANT Esports | Verizon VCT Game Changers Series I Main Event: Everything You Need To Know

After a weekend of Open Qualifiers, the top eight NA teams will compete in the first major Verizon VCT Game Changers Series of 2022.

Here’s everything you need to know about Verizon VCT Game Changers Series I Main Event.

TOURNAMENT OVERVIEW

After last weekend’s Open Qualifiers, the top 8 teams advanced to the Main Event, a double-elimination bracket beginning on April 6. All matches will be best-of-three until the Grand Final on April 9, which will be a best-of-five. Teams will compete for a share of the $50,000 prize pool and earn points for Game Changers World Championship qualification.

There will be a total of 410 points available for the top 16 placed teams throughout each Verizon VCT Game Changer Series. Point distribution will be as follows:

1st Place: 20% or 80 points
2nd Place: 15% or 60 points
3rd Place: 12% or 50 points
4th Place: 10% or 40 points
5th - 6th Place: 7% or 30 points
7th - 8th Place: 5% or 20 points
9th - 16th Place: 2% or 10 points
