The 2025 VALORANT Champions Tour left us with a ton of unforgettable moments. Whether it was regional leagues, year-round tournaments, or big international events, this season really delivered.
Now it’s time to celebrate that effort around the world.
Starting December 7, regions will start dropping their winners for the VCT Awards.
Let’s go through each category one by one.
Player of the Year
This goes to the player who carried the most this season through consistency, overall level, adaptation, and how much they lifted their team at home and on the global stage.
Role Players of the Year
(Duelist, Sentinel, Controller, Initiator, IGL)
Players can get nominated for different roles (flex life), but can only win one. They must’ve played the role at least 30% of the time. IGLs can qualify for several roles.
Coach of the Year
Given to the coach who had the biggest influence through strategy, leadership, and overall performance across competitions.
Most Improved Player
For the player who leveled up the most from last year.
Rookie of the Year
Best first-year player. Has to be new to VCT (didn’t play three or more main roster matches before 2025).
Voting FAQs
What voting system is used?
Ranked Choice (1st/2nd/3rd = 3pts/2pts/1pt).
When did voting happen?
The voting happened at different moments after Stage 2.
Who gets to vote?
Broadcast talent, media, and one player + coach + streamer from each VCT team. Teams cannot vote for themselves.
What was considered?
Season-long performance, across all events.
