Following an ongoing investigation into the team, Domintus Jade, after the VALORANT GAME CHANGERS - 2023 APAC SERIES - OPEN I, VALORANT Esports has ruled that the Domintus Jade organization and its players have violated one or more of Rules 3.1, 3.3, 17.6 of the VALORANT Game Changers Competition Ruleset by providing false information to officials regarding a players age and submitting false information during the registration process.
After the completion of the VALORANT GAME CHANGERS - APAC SERIES - OPEN I, the tournament operator, FSL, received reports and evidence that the player “spyxii” was under the age of 16. During the investigation, tournament officials reviewed the player registration submitted by Dominatus Jade and found that all members were registered to be at least 16 years old. Tournament officials then proceeded to verify the age of the players in question by requiring a form of identification to be submitted. During this time, “sphyxii” was unable to produce a form of identification to validate they were of the age of 16 or over, and afterwards admitted to be only 13 years old.
The player “Sphyxii” will not be eligible to play in Riot VALORANT Esports events until they are of the age of 16 years old.
The remaining roster of Dominatus Jade and the Dominatus organization is suspended from the remainder of VALORANT GAME CHANGERS - 2023 APAC SERIES events.
“Sinoo”is suspended for 7 months from March 13th, 2023 until October 13th, 2023 for violating Rule 3.3.
“Bella” is suspended for 7 months from March 13th, 2023 until October 13th, 2023 for violating Rule 3.3.
“Chimochi” is suspended for 7 months from March 13th, 2023 until October 13th, 2023 for violating Rule 3.3.
“Jean” is suspended for 7 months from March 13th, 2023 until October 13th, 2023 for violating Rule 3.3.
The Dominatus organization is suspended from Game Changers events for 7 months from March 13th, 2023 until October 13th, 2023 for violating Rule 17.6. Dominatus’s Challengers Indonesia team is now also under probation and any further ruleset violations or incidents will result in escalated penalties going forward.
3.1. Player A
3.1.1. No player shall be considered eligible to participate in any Game Changers competition before their 16th birthday, defined as having lived 16 full years (“Minimum Age Requirement”).
3.3. Eligibility Vouching
Unless permitted on a case-by-case basis by the Tournament Operator, the Team's starting roster must have played together for at least two (2) weeks prior to the registration deadline for the Game Changers League. The Team must vouch that all of their players meet the player eligibility requirements in both the Game Changers Competition Ruleset and any applicable Game Changers Supplementary Ruleset.
The Tournament Operator reserves the right to reevaluate the eligibility of any player during a Game Changers event. If a player participating in a Game Changers event is determined, at the sole discretion of Tournament Officials, to have misled the Tournament Operator with regard to these player eligibility requirements, all Team members on the player's Team may be sanctioned.
17.6. False Information
Tax forms, registration forms, parental consents, and other documentation may be required at various times by the Tournament Operator. Team Personnel violates this Game Changers Competition Ruleset if he or she knowingly provides false or inaccurate information to the Tournament Operator. A Team may be subject to sanctions if the documentation is not completed to the standards set by the Tournament Operator.
