This March, Masters Santiago opens its doors to fans with a brand-new on-site competitive experience. Across select competition days, Masters Santiago will offer a proving ground for local players ready to make their mark at the event!
The Santiago Skirmish Series is a live tournament series where attendees can battle through open competition and earn the chance to qualify for the final weekend. Top performers may also be featured across VALORANT’s global social channels, compete against creators and pros, and even find themselves on the biggest stage at the event.
Select days of the event will feature four single-elimination tournaments with 16 players each, lasting roughly one hour per tournament and showcasing 64 unique players total. The winner of each qualifier tournament will receive prizing, including two tickets to Saturday, March 14, and will qualify for the Final Tournament on that day, resulting in 16 qualified players overall. Those players will then compete alongside creators and other competitors in a 32-player double-elimination Final Tournament, expected to run approximately two hours. The final matches will be played on the VCT Stage following the conclusion of the Masters matches on Saturday, March 14.

The Santiago Skirmish Series is about celebrating the local community. Our goal is to create a competitive experience that’s exciting to watch, meaningful to play in, and welcoming to top players.
Masters events travel the world but the moments should belong to the cities that host them. This competition gives Santiago players a chance to step forward, compete on a global stage, and leave their mark on Masters history.
