The next season of VCT Americas will start being defined in Brazil. VCT Ascension Americas returns to São Paulo in 2025 and it’s bringing together nine teams that share the same dream: make it to VCT Americas in 2026. This event will take place from the 14 to the 26 of October, in the Riot Games Arena in São Paulo, with a live audience every day!
From Brazil, we have Stellae Gaming, Team Solid, and RED Canids Kalunga. LATAM is sending 9z Team, ShindeN, and 6Karma. NA’s representatives will be TSM, ENVY, and Winthrop University.
TICKETS
All competition days will take place in person, with a live audience, in the Riot Games Arena São Paulo. Tickets will be sold through Eventim starting at 9AM PT on October 2nd. FORMAT
Ascension Americas 2025 will have three stages: Play-In, Swiss Stage, and Playoffs.
Play-In: The third seeds from each region (BR, LATAM, NA) will face off in a single round-robin. The first two teams from the group will advance to the Swiss Stage. In the event of a three-way tie, the same tiebreaker criteria used for global events will be followed. Check the full regulations here

Swiss Stage: The Swiss Stage follows the same format used in Masters 2025. The team who gets two wins will advance to the Swiss Stage, and the ones who lose two matches will be eliminated. All games will be best-of-three. Four teams will move on.
Round 1 is determined by a random draw (no same-region matchups). Prior results set subsequent rounds. Winners (1–0) face off for a spot in Playoffs, while losers (0–1) fight to avoid elimination in direct head-to-head matchups.
Playoffs: The four survivors enter a Double-Elimination Bracket in Playoffs—two losses and you’re out. All matches in this stage are best-of-three, except the Lower Bracket Final and the Grand Final, which are best-of-five.
