Playoffs begin on June 16 and feature the top eight teams from the 2022 VCT Stage 2 - Challengers NA - Main Event squaring off in a modified double-elimination bracket. Matches will be played over two weeks in a best-of-three format until we reach the best-of-five Upper Final, Lower Final, and Grand Final.
After two sets of open qualifiers and a main event, it is now time to determine the champion of Challengers 2!
EVENT OVERVIEW
2022 VCT Stage 2 - Challengers NA - Playoffs is the second major North American tournament as part of the 2022 VALORANT Champions Tour: a year-long global circuit featuring three tiers of competition (Challengers, Masters, and Champions) across North America, South America, Europe, and Asia.
The Stage 2 Playoffs begin with the #1 seed from each qualifying group receiving a bye to the second round of the Upper Bracket. The #4 seed from each group will begin their playoff run in the Lower Bracket. The #2 seed from each group will face the #3 seed from the opposing group to determine who will move forward in the Upper Bracket and who will drop to the Lower Bracket.
Matches will be played for two weeks and are a best-of-three format until the Upper Finals, Lower Finals, and Grand Finals, which will all be best-of-five.
The top two teams will represent North America at Masters Copenhagen. They will face off in the Grand Finals on June 26.
