Game Changers is an initiative by Riot Games, launched in February 2021 with a simple yet powerful goal: to offer new opportunities and exposure for women in VALORANT esports. This program blends community events with top-tier competition, creating opportunities for women within esports. In addition to the competitive aspect, Game Changers provides valuable training, empowering individuals to explore careers in the esports industry. Our aim is clear: create a stepping stone that encourages more women to compete at the highest levels of competition and unlocks new pathways into the esports industry.
This year, from November 28 to December 3, São Paulo will host the VALORANT Game Changers Championship, bringing together elite teams from around the world. These teams, hailing from Brazil, China, EMEA, Japan, Korea, East Asia, LATAM, North America, and Southeast Asia (SEA), will vie for the coveted championship trophy on the international stage.

Following intense competition in regional Game Changers tournaments, hundreds of teams have aspired to secure a prestigious slot at the World Championship. In November, eight of the best teams will engage in a double-elimination, best-of-three bracket, culminating in a high-stakes best-of-five Grand Final. Is there a minimum age requirement to attend Game Changers Championship?
No, there is not a minimum age to attend the event. However, those who are 15 and younger will only be admitted if they are accompanied by a legally responsible adult, with the pertinent documents.
Do I need to buy a ticket for my lap-child?
No. You will not need to buy a ticket for a lap-child up to 3 years old, they will be able to attend the event with their parents, and are required to stay on your lap throughout the event. You will need to present the child’s birth certificate, as well as your own ID and ticket.
What is the policy to transfer or cancel tickets?

What can I bring to the event? What is allowed?
* Blank posters or flags, or those which contain hate/prejudice messages, or messages that incite violence, will absolutely not be tolerated within the event.

Yes, as long as it’s not professional equipment. Those will only be authorized for the accredited press.

Yes, food and beverages will be sold at the event. It will be possible to pay with physical money, and Credit/Debit Cards. (ELO and AMEX won’t be supported).

Can I attend the event if I don’t have proof of complete vaccination against COVID-19?
In accordance with the ruling published in Diário Oficial do Estado de São Paulo (DOSP) in February 15h, 2023, referring to bill 668/2021, it is prohibited to demand show of proof of vaccination against COVID-19 in order to access public or private spaces in all of São Paulo state. Therefore, it is not necessary to present any kind of proof of vaccination to access the event.
