Just when you thought VALORANT Challengers was over after the Ascension, we bring you Stage 3! This stage promises intense competition, showcasing both veteran teams and fresh talent from the Open Qualifiers.
Here’s everything you need to know about Challengers NA Stage 3.
SCHEDULE & FORMAT
Stage 3 Open Qualifiers
Stage 3 will start with an open qualifier from November 4th to the 8th, up to 256 teams will have the chance to compete and qualify for the main event of Stage 3, where the top Challenger teams will be waiting.
The format of the Open Qualifiers will be:
Single Elimination until Round of 32
Double Elimination from Round of 32 onward
All matches are Best of 3 (BO3)
Top 2 teams qualify for Main Event
Stage 3 Main Event
The Main Event will feature 16 teams: the 12 Challenger teams that are part of the League after Stage 2 (considering its promotion/relegation tournament), 2 teams from Premier (one from Episode 9 Act 1 and another one from Episode 9 Act 2 and 2 teams from the Open Qualifiers.
Teams will be sorted out in 4 groups for a GSL Group Stage where the top 2 teams from each group will make it out into the Double Elimination Playoffs. All matches will be Bo3 during Stage 3.
All teams will be competing for a prize pool of $25,000 and the results of Stage 3 will also have an impact for the qualification to the 2025 season (more information will be provided on a later date).
