Verizon VCT Game Changers Series 2 has expanded to a 48-team Open Qualifier that runs from June 30 to July 3. Matches will continue to be best-of-one unless they are for qualification or elimination. The upper bracket will conclude after three rounds (four teams remaining), with the lower bracket determining the final four of the top eight teams.
The top eight teams will advance to the Main Event, a double-elimination bracket, beginning on July 6. All matches will be best-of-three until the Grand Final on July 9, which will be a best-of-five. Teams will compete for a share of the $50,000 prize pool and earn points for Game Changers World Championship qualification.
