Champions Shanghai overview
The top two teams from each territory's Stage 2 Playoffs, as well as the top two Championship point earners from each territory come together and compete in the biggest tournament of the year. The winner is crowned the 2026 VALORANT World Champion.

Event Phases
The top two teams from each territory's Stage 2 Playoffs, as well as the top two Championship point earners from each territory participate in Champions Shanghai.
Group Stage
16 teams are broken out into 4 GSL groups. Each match is played as a best of 3. The top 2 teams from each group advance to playoffs.
Playoffs
8 teams compete in a double elimination bracket with all games being best of 3. The lower finals and stage grand finals are best of 5.
