Everything you need to know about the Tier 1 professional VALORANT league's 2025 season.

About the Tour

VALORANT Champions Tour (VCT) is the game’s Tier 1 competition, and is made up of four territories: Americas, EMEA, APAC, and China. Over the course of the 2025 season, teams participate in a series of regional and international events that culminate at the final international event, Champions, where the best team in the world is crowned.

Season Event Timeline

Kickoff

REGIONAL event (Jan – Feb)

The 2025 VCT season kicks off with each International League running a Kickoff tournament. The 1st and 2nd place finishers in each territory qualify for Masters Bangkok. Championship Points are rewarded to the top four teams in each territory, depending on their placement.

Masters Bangkok

GLOBAL event (Feb – Mar)

The top two teams from each territory's Kickoff event (8 teams total) come together for the first of three international tournaments. Championship Points are rewarded to the top four teams, depending on their placement.

Stage 1

REGIONAL event (Mar – May)

The first of two International League stages. The 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place teams in each territory qualify for Masters Toronto. 1 Championship Point is rewarded for each match win during the regular season and additional Championship Points are rewarded to the top four teams during playoffs, depending on placement.

Masters Toronto

GLOBAL event (Jun)

The top three teams from each International League's Stage 1 Playoffs (12 teams total) come together for the second of three international tournaments. Championship Points are rewarded to the top six teams, depending on their placement.

Stage 2

REGIONAL event (Jul – Aug)

The second International League stage. The Stage 2 playoffs winner and runner-up qualify for Champions Paris. 1 Championship Point is rewarded for each match win during the regular season and additional Championship Points are rewarded to the top four teams during playoffs, depending on placement.

Champions Paris

GLOBAL event (Sep – Oct)

The top two teams from each territory's Stage 2 Playoffs, as well as the top two Championship Points leading teams from each territory come together and compete in the biggest tournament of the year. The winner is crowned the champion of the 2025 VCT season.
